Beanie Kids (BK) are cute, cuddly plush bears filled with beans.  They are a collectable item and an Australian Product.

What makes them so special is their individuality.  Each Beanie Kid design has its own special name, date of birth and star sign. Designs are often theme based, such as fairies, ballerinas, fashion, sport, animals, monsters and many more. So there are always new and exciting Beanie Kids to collect.

As well as new releases each month, selected Beanie Kids are also retired on a monthly basis. This means that no more of the retired Beanie Kids designs will ever be reproduced - making these retirees very special and highly sought after collector's items.

They are available as:

• Beanie Kids are the original bean-filled, 20cm plush bear available in a variety of themes and characters, with new designs being released and selected BK being retired each month.
• Cuddly Kids are 42cm versions of the most popular Beanie Kid designs.  Each month one new Cuddly Kid is released and one is retired.  Cuddly Kids also make a great bedroom decoration, a fantastic gift for any occasion or a special child’s reward and they are utterly cuddly!
• Great Big Kids are 80cm high and are released on a quarterly basis.  GBK's also move into retirement and make a fantastic gift.

Special Releases such as:

• Charity with $1 from the sales of this Beanie Kid being donated by Awakening Lotus to a BK Charity.
• Limited Edition:  Only a restricted number of these Beanie Kids are released. They are immediately Retired and are no longer produced.
  
• Mutation Release:  Special varieties of Beanie Kids which have something different. There are only a very small number of mutations in existence.
• Premier Exclusive:  Only released via accredited premier stockists. They are immediately Retired and are no longer produced making them harder to come by and more valuable.  They come with their own premier exclusive badge.
  
• Retired Bears:  Each month selected Beanie Kids are also retired. This means that no more of the retired Beanie Kids designs will ever be reproduced, making these retirees very special and highly sought after collector's items.
• Redemption Release:  A restricted number of these Beanie Kids are made available through a special redemption program in their year of release. Redemption Beanie Kids are immediate retirements and only available upon the completion and redemption of the special redemption program.
• Show Release:  Each year a specific bear is chosen to become the Beanie Kids show bear for the royal shows around Australia.  Random vouchers are hidden within the Beanie Kids show bags and around 300 special show bears are available per show.  Each show bear comes with its very own commemorative show card stating which year and show the bear was found.  These bears are a great item for any collector and very rare.
