Terms and Conditions

In these Terms and Conditions "we" and "us" means Awakening Lotus of Shop 366-367, Aisle “C”, (Retail Section), Paddy’s Markets, Hay Street, Sydney NSW 2000, Australia, (ABN 16 889 883 534) and "you" means you, the customer.  By placing an order with us, you are accepting these terms and conditions:

  • You must be eighteen (18) years of age or over.  If you are under eighteen (18) years of age, please ask for the assistance of a parent or guardian if you wish to make purchases.
  • When placing an order, you must provide us with your legal name, along with accurate contact details, including your address and email.
  • When making a payment by credit card, you must be the owner of the card.
  • All goods must be paid (and cleared) in full before despatch.
  • All prices are in Australian Dollars and purchases must be made in Australian Currency.
  • If we suspect a fraudulent or high-risk transaction, we reserve the right to refuse any order and contact the appropriate authority.

At Awakening Lotus, we value your privacy and will not share your personal information with anyone, other than for the purposes of completing your purchase.  The personal information we collect is necessary for us to conduct business with you as an online provider of goods and services.

 Payment Options

To ensure your are using an SSL and all your data is processed securely and confidentially, please check the following:

  • Bank Deposit:  Awakening Lotus' bank details will be provided to you.
  • Cheque: (Personal or Bank):  Make you cheque payable to "Awakening Lotus".  Your order will be processed upon receipt of your cheque.
  • Credit Card:  Awakening Lotus accepts Mastercard, Visa Card and JCB.
  • Gift Voucher:  Please email, post or present your Gift Certificate to Awakening Lotus.  Your order will be processed upon receipt of your Gift Certificate.
  • Telephone Payment:  Contact Jo Thompson, Mb:  0414 706 205.


 Secure Online Ordering

Awakening Lotus ensures the security of your private/confidential details and online transactions (inc Credit Card details) by securely encrypting all information using Secure Sockets Layers (SSL) 128 bit encryption.

An encrypted SSL connection ensures all confidential and private information, sent between a User and a Server, is protected from being intercepted over the Internet.  All information and data sent over an encrypted SSL connection is protected using a mechanism which automatically detects if data has been tampered or altered in transit.  Having an encrypted SSL connection ensures that you can confidently send private data, such as credit card numbers and other personal information, through our secure server.

  • Your browser address bar has"https" appearing when you are in the checkout page, and
  • A small gold padlock at the right hand side of your browser address bar appears

All orders are delivered using Australia Post.  Australia Post states that delivery will be between 3-6 business days within Australia depending upon location. 

Please note that this does not include product availablity or packaging/handling time although we will ensure that your package is a high priority and will be despatched your order as soon as possible. 



  • Up to 500g - AUD$15
  • Up to 3kg - AUD$20
  • Up to 5kg - AUD$27

We can deliver to virtually any address in the world if the local postal authority delivers there. There are however restrictions on some products and destinations.

Dispatch is normally 3 to 7 business days, stock levels permitting:  All orders are processed after assessing if stock is available.  When you place an order, we will estimate delivery details (inc time and costs) based on the availability and size of your order.

Due to the new trends in publishing the wait time for rare or out of stock items can be up to 3 months.



Awakening Lotus respects your privacy.  All of your personal information is kept strictly confidential.  We do not sell, rent or exchange our customer's details or email addresses with any third parties (unless the law requests us to do so).



Awakening Lotus provides refunds only under the following conditions.  Please notify Awakening Lotus immediately on 0414706205 and await instructions:

  • Damaged in Transit:  Awakening Lotus will replace any item that has been damaged in transit, if reported within 3 working days.
  • Incorrectly Shipped:  Awakening Lotus will replace any incorrectly delivered items at no charge, if reported within 3 working days.
  • Lost Item/s:  Awakening Lotus will replace any lost items, if reported within 3 working days.
  • Faulty Item/s:  Awakening Lotus will replace any faulty items, if reported within 3 working days.
    Orders that are made incorrectly, in error or request a change of mind are not accepted.


Returning Your Goods

If Awakening Lotus requests you to return any goods, please ensure that all items are packaged securely.  Please include your name, telephone number, address and Invoice/Receipt along with the item/s you are returning.

If you need to return an item, simply login to your Account, view the order using the "Complete Orders" link under the My Account menu and click the Return Item/s button.  We will notify you via e-mail of your refund once we've received and processed the returned item.
